2012 Tacoma SR5 double cab 4x4

i'm new to tacoma and just bought a 2012 model. i've been watching a few videos on youtube and a canadian dealership was doing a walkaround of the truck and showed a block heater cable. is this standard on all 2012 tacoma models or just canadian. mines a double cab sr5 4x4 if this helps. thanks
