I have searched but I can,t find the air filter # for a 2012 TRD O/R V-6! I had a Tundra befour and i had a few oil filters and air filters from it and the oil filters fit the Tacoma so i was wondering if the air filter will also work on the tacoma. Searced the owners manual and no where does it say the number for the air filter. Thank You, John D.

Your larger Walmarts have them from Fram for about 13-15$

I have 4 air filters that fit the Tundra! I need the # to see if they will fit the Tacoma. Thanks John D.

According to the listings on O'Reilly, the 2012 V6 Tacoma and 2012 V6 Tundra both use the same air filter.

    Thanks Rich!
I forgot to put that my Tundra was a 2001. I would just take one out and try it but my Tacoma will not be back until some time next week.

Looks like the '01 is still the same filter.

So i guess the oil and air filters left over from my 01 Tundra will save me a few dollars. John D.

At the risk of this getting "lost" in the Tundra fitment, does anyone know if using a K&N drop in cartridge requires any reset to the computer?

Didn't use one on my former F-150; many people said "yes", others weren't sure. So I elected to stay with stock.

    Thanks!

It doesn't, but seriously... stick with the paper filter.
It's only $15 every 30k or so and filters FAR better than K&N, AFE, or any other "washable" filters.

K&N filters are very free flowing... and they also freely allow fine dirt particles into the engine, which WILL score the cylinders.
