Hey new from SWFLA anyone here hoping these 2.4's up??

i hope you can direct me to some info sources.
i got into a tacoma nice and cheap typical cold air, high miles, rough paint but strait sides.
i would like to build this motor and get some more go out of it. it has decent get up now but i would like to get more revs out of it.
does anyone know how theses 2.4's rev or what to do to make them hold together up high? springs cams built rods. can the trans take more revs? i'm just starting out so please ignore my ignorance if this motor is just not well suited for high revs. that's why im asking. if people have had more success building for low end that's what i'll do

any little tips to crank out a few more ponies would be helpful.
