2012 Tacoma Double Cab 4x4 TRD Sport Long Bed

-4.0L 5spd auto
-Magnetic Gray Metallic
-Top of the line
-Paid around $35k after taxes,dealer fee's,etc.

Why we bought:
1) we wanted a TRD Off-Road 4x4 Nautical Blue Metallic ,but can't find one near and around our area. Magnetic Gray Metallic was the second choice.
2) no brand new TRD Off-Road 4x4 in tthose 2 colors around us. Plenty of 4x2 Pre-Runners tho.
3) couldn't wait any longer so they caved in for a TRD Sport.
4) Top of the line Tundra was not available without tthe 5.7L v8. We would've gotten a Tundra if the v6 models weren't so poo.

Future Plans (for sure):
-Stainless steel tube running boards
-front wind deflector/bug guard.
-window visors
-upgraded more-rugged tires.
-Wet Okole seat covers made to fit
-Truck bed tonneau cover
-front brush guard
-skid plates.


As of now (7.11.2012)
Bought it with only 12mi on it. Currently has 32 miles

Now that my dad finally got his ride after a few weeks of deliberation. So now we can finally start working on getting this bad boy iin perfect running order:

Truck was paid off 7.14.2012 Saturday.
Got the new 265/65/17 Michelin LTX M/S2 mounted.

Quick update:
got Michelin LTX M/S2 265/65/17 mounted awhile ago... Sold the stock Dunlop AT20 w/ less than 500mi. the LTX's was in the Top 5 Mall Crawler truck tires

Installed Today 8.6.12

Bully Step in the Tow assembly. looks like it will help with rear-end collisions. seems like the car would hit the Bully Step and slide under the truck instead of hitting the rear bumper dead on.


Tailgate hinge lock. you can easily take the tailgate off in 30sec so this is a good $25 investment to help prevent that. will do the complimenting washer mod soon.

Sweet! just bought mine 3 weeks ago.

 

Got it and paid it off in 4days forgot to put it on the timeline. I'm trying to keep a complete record.

Then got the new Michelin LTX M/S2 mounted and sold the stock Dunlops

what brand is your running boards?

 

My guess OEM. Ordered them from the dealer at 20% discount.

 

What kind of gas milage have you been getting ? This is the exact Tacoma I hope to purchase.
