The dealer tried the same with me. I still had the original shocks though. I told them he could have the originals, but not to touch my billies and I want the replacement shocks if they are taking my originals. They ended up leaving me with the originals and probably kept the replacements...scum bags.

Since I was past the 3 yr 36K it went to the Toyota ExtraCare warranty which originally denied it due to the suspension. I contacted them and askeed to speak to a supervisor so he could explain what shocks had to do with carrying a heavy load... So after about an hour on the phone they covered it.... DIdn't cover it based off the TSB but due to "ride height" it was below spec so they switched out the old leaves and were going to put in another 3 leaf pack... TOld the dealer I would pay the difference between the three and four leaf pack. Cost me about hundred bucks but definetly looks good... probably should of just went with an AAL looking back it but ohh well.

Add the Wheelers 3 leaf to the TSB pack... it strengthens it considerably. Otherwise you are likely to wear out your TSB pack in a year of use.

+3. You went through way too much for a band aid that will fail down the road. I suggest as others have as well to back up that leaf pack with the wheelers or icon progressive three leaf or firestone airbags if you haul on a regular basis.

x2. I put the Icon 3-leaf AAL into a brand new TSB leaf pack and it's held up great for 2 years now. No noticable sag and still rides nice.
