Refinancing your truck for lower rates will only remind you how you got f***ed the first time every time you get in it. Get their price and then either sell yours or find out what they'll give you for it...

You don't think you can get your SR5 to a sport with $5000??? (difference between what you owe and the new one?) Does your SR5 have the LSD now? If it does all you will need is a hood and a inverter basically. Not worth trading in for that. There isn't any way your going to get lower payments doing that kind of trade after getting hosed on the SR5.

If you dont get more then you owe then you paid 9k to drive the truck for less then 2 years. If they give you less that figure is even worse. If you sell privately you might be able to recover some of that. I still vote refi. If you sale it for 28k. Then that difference is 7k plus the new cost at 29 your still paying the same in the end for the same truck or 31,600 (trd)+7000 you paid 39k for the trd. Makes no sense to me to sell then buy new

numbers posted should not include taxes if you have not yet negotiated your trade value.

most states only charge sales tax on the differance between the sale price of the new truck and the trade value.

expect to get 25K for your current truck
