    Hey guys,
I just installed this HU nothing shows up on the digital radio screen. It is acting like I have nothing hooked up. I made sure the antenna is plugged in. Am I missing something? I have no FM/AM channels.

Is the hu getting power? Did you plug the cables up correctly, have you reconnected the battery? Just to ask a couple questions

Yes everything is connected and working well except two things: the back-up camera, and the digital radio. Thank you for your response...man I hope I didn't get a bad HU.

the steering wheel controls work and the E-break bypass works great. I don't know of any other wires to connect to make the digital radio work other then plugging in the antenna. ?

The back-up camera I think may be a bad connection at the plug. I will trouble shoot that after this radio thing. Any ideas?

I did hook-up a E-break bypass. It had 3 wires and the instructions said to hook the blue wire (bypass) to the blue/white wire (HU) which is the power antenna wire. Would hooking up the bypass make the Digital Audio think it is hooked to a power antenna? This could be my mistake...??

Not sure about the digital radio. But, did you put the camera settings up correctly? Polarity should be set to "Battery."

Also, I would reset the HU before you try anything else. My AVH 4300 has a small reset button on the bottom left of the unit. It might just fix both issues.

Thanks for the reply Oh Yeah! I cannot find a reset button on this HU. I will set the polarity to battery and try it again. I used this thread to wire in the yellow RCA cable and switch wire.

I contacted Pioneer and they are telling me to get an antenna booster to get the digital radio to work. I cannot find one anywhere. I guess I will have to order it online and wait for it to get here.

I'm not going with the antenna booster and just decided that I am going to take this thing back and exchange it. It appears to be a bad HU. Oh, and the only way to reset this HU is to disconnect it for 20 minutes per the pioneer trouble shooting rep.

Coming back here to say that I ended up returning the HU and purchased another one just like it. The back-up camera along with the digital radio works great. I obviously just had a bad HU.
