Any ideas for bed floor tie down mounts up front??

    not the ones i use. Obviously the ones that are attached to the bed have zero play and the drings are pretty stiff. as you can see they remain in the up position. they stay that way even after hundreds of miles of crappy mexican back roads.

    If you buy the 5 for $5 (or whatever) rings at ArmySurplus, you can use my guide in the other thread to make them silent using zip ties. Mine are still fine and stick in whatever direction you leave them.

    If you buy the actual surplus rings, you could either do a version of what I mention above, or you could (as I do) put them on the bed bolts. When not in use, the bed mat is over them. Totally silent.
