I would love to do my rear bumper in Vinyl, but I am guessing it is way harder than it looks.

In the DIY, thats the first rim i ever did. in the video that was the second one.

Yes its not easy, but doable. I did the back of a Z06 vette and thats similar(took my brother and me 4 hours)...

Good thing is that you can take your time, not like paint is going to set lol... just use lots of water with a 1% solution of baby shampoo and you have hours!...

if i can wrap this S2000 hartop which is cervy as F!@# then im sure with ehough time you can do a bumper

Painting them would have taken atleast 2-3 houes each, this took 30 min.

when i get tired of black or want to sell them... i just peel it off. simple as that!

just for fun i wrapped them in green! hahaha...

I hate to say it but you can see creases in the vinyl and imperfections under the vinyl. I think it looks poor and tacky

A spray can will give you better results and be faster.

Paint is permanent versus this vinyl, as stated there is plati dip which gives a better finish as well but you have more sheen/finish options with vinyl not to mention patterns even.

Those guys that wrapped that wheel have probably been installing vinyl or tint for years. You'll get better looking results and it's a whole hell of alot quicker to just Plasti-Dip the wheels.

Vinyl looks cheap IMO and there's no going back after spray paint. Do not waste your time with either of these and just plasti-dip them. Comes off just as easy as the vinyl does
