You two are talking about different wheels.
Rocketball is talking about the standard FJ wheel. These also come on the TRD Sport Tacos.
Delmarva is talking about the FJ TRD wheel.
And brianr has the "Baja" wheel (black ones come on the Rugged Trail edition tacos).

Hmmmm.. I think you got it a little wrong. I have a TRD Sport, and I've never seen the FJ wheels I bought on a Taco as a factory option.

    Here's the ones I bought:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...c=1&vie witem=

In this style, I've only seen the 16" in a 5-spoke design.

Guess I should have posted pics to clarify...
First pic is the FJ 6 spoke
Second pic is the Taco Sport 5 spoke (these first two are so simular I guess I group them together)(I also think they are ugly)
Third pic is the Tacoma Baja available in silver. Black ones come on the TRD Rugged Trail Taco.
Fourth pic is the FJ TRD wheel in silver. Anthracite wheels came on the special edition Black 2007 FJ. Black wheels came on the 2008 special edition FJ (see photos in my album I almost bought one).
Fifth pic is the FJ TRD Anthracite wheels I bought.

Now we're talkin the same language.

I had the 5-spoke Taco Sport rims. Now I have the 6-spoke FJ rims.

I also don't care for the Taco Sport rims. They are ok, but Toyota has beaten them to death. My wife's 04 4Runner has the exact same rims, and I'm just plain tired of looking at them.

As a matter of fact, I was so tired of looking at them that I almost didn't buy my Taco Sport because of the rims.

Will I have any issues with putting the Gunmetal FJ Cruiser wheels with the BFG P265/70/16 and stock lift on my 09 double cab?

They'll fit well... you could even go up to a 265/75/16 if you wanted to and it would be fine.

Sweet. That's what I want to hear. Delmarva I noticed you have the Gunmetal set, did yours come with a new set of lug nuts or did you use the ones off your stock alloys?

I just ordered the fj trd wheels in silver but I haven't decided what tires to wrap them in. I really like the bfg a/t but my daily commute is about 77mi round trip and the a/ts are kind of ruff. I want a somewhat aggresive look that still rides good. Any suggestions?

They came with new lugs - I used my stock lugs because they were already out of the package  (they're the same lugnuts)

Not many folks run the Pirrelli Scorpion ATR tires - but they're consistently rated very high as an AT tire... Also look at Nitto Terra grapplers - very popular AT tire here...
