I was wrenching on my wife's '06 Corolla the other day, looking forward to the day I can park my truck in the garage, making it more toy-like, and take the Corolla as my DD/beater, while putting her in something nicer (she likes XTerras, I'd like one of those German 3 series, xi thingies.) I love the Corolla because it hates gas, it's reliable as hell, and it's super easy to wrench on.

So what else do you have in your garage? And why?
