Recently installed the toytec ultimate lift kit with Radflo coil overs on my 2012 Taco. Installed my tires today and now i have a rubbing issue, talked to John over at specialty products where i got my UCA's from and he advised to us the eccentric settings on the LCA's to push my wheels forward so i won't have to cut the fenders. He advised that the adjustable UCA's would compensate for the adjustment on the LCA's. Does anyone have any advise?

Billie, the guy that put my lift on had to do the same thing with my UCAs (I have the same lift). Although, I am running the stock 16 inch wheels. After the adjustment, I have had no rubbing issues. I am running 285/75/16.

How much are you actually rubbing? If your alignment is good now it'd be easier to just trim alittle. That's what I did and you can't see I trimmed unless you are actually looking for it.

You have some fat tires, probably going to have to trim

I don't have pics of it I just trimmed the front and back of the fender. Look at those parts and you should see where your tire has been rubbing. Just trim that piece of te plastic off, drive it around and see if you hear it anymore. I had to repeat this method 2-3 times until I got rid of all the rubbing.

I can already see one issue, you will have to remove your front mud guards, most of us did on here that run 33"s. You should be able to get by with some minor trimming with a dremel. Where else are you rubbing except for your mud guards?

rubbing on the body mount it looks like. (edit: mudflaps as of right now.... if you remove the mud flaps i think your still going to rub in the same spot) Your alignment guy should be to adjust how far away the wheels are from the rear of the fender with your UCA. Might just have to cut some in the front instead of the body mount chop

this is the driver side which is a lil worse. This side is sitting @ 22 1/2" from the fender to the center of the hub and the driver side is @ 23 1/2".

Okay I can see it a little better now and thats where I rub too. Unless you do a cab mount chop, your gonna just have to live with it pretty much. I only rub at full tilt on the steering wheel though so its not to bad.

Those are the only spots. Mud guards, i took them off and i was still rubbing so i just put the back on so i wouldn't break the edge of the fender.

Oh okay I see what you mean. If I were you, I would lose the mud guards and the fender part your talking about, it should be plastic and you can trim with a dremel, thats what I did.

I have them the same on both sides and didn't have a problem until I took the truck to Toyota to do the wheel alignment. I was @ 23 1/2" on both sides until they pushed the eccentric setting out on the driver side LCA which i then lost lift do to the angle of the spring. Do you remember your stock fender to center of hub measurements?
