Hey all, I am having a squeaky rattling noise coming from the dash/engine compartment when I have the A/c on. When I turn it off the sound goes away.

Has anyone experienced the same thing? Just started happening yesterday. This is on a 07 taco, 24k miles so it's still under warranty. If it's a quick fix I would rather fix it myself than bring it to the dealership.

    Thanks!

My 09 is doing the same thing but it only makes the sound when the fan is on the first or second setting. Off or high has no noise. I am currently at the stealership and having it looked at. I will update when I find out what they say.

When I operate the fan a/c or not, the fan make a vibration in the dash.. this only happends in the two highest settings on the blower.. Bearing? if so, is it easy to replace yourself? Or is this a dealer kind of fix?
    any thoughts?

im amazed at the quality of service work from toyota dealers.

im use to walking in to my chevy dealer and hearing them say, "cannot replicate conditions".
