How can I tell if my truck will need a xpress or fortin bypass? None of my keys have any button on them, but do have a dot near the plastic.

Its a 06 Dbl Cab with factory alarm installed.

I have always gone with the dot as being a chipped key. Inside the truck next to the hazard button there should be a flashing car with a key inside it when your chipped key is not in the ignition. That means the immobilizer it active when it is flashing.

Are you doing the install yourself?

I ended up figuring it out and I do have the immobilizer and bought a 556u.

Yes I am going to do the install myself. If you have installed them any advise is appreciated.

Same here. PM me with any questions and I'll do the same. Hopefully we can help each other out. Good luck!
