Picked up some wheels for the Tacoma, I'm guessing since it had steel wheels on it I now need longer studs to get the aluminum ones to fit?

New wheel, stud barely fits out of hole.

    New wheel

    Old style wheels.

Whats the best fix for this?

    Thanks
    Jason

U need shank lugs found on factory alloys 16 and 17 inch.

Your old lugs were conical and will not work with the new wheels.

The new lugs extend into the wheel to reach the stud.

Check Rock auto, they have fair prices.
Or throw up a want to buy some stockers, I bet you find someone willing to give you a good deal.
