Due to some health issues I will have to let my Tacoma go which really p***es me off since I have only had it for 8 months. Been an absolutely great truck once I fixed the driveline vibes but situations being what they are it has to go bye bye. I will be getting another one once the situation warrants it so I will be back.
Oh does anybody know what the blue book value is on a 2012 SR5 with the tow package? KBB doesn't even have a listing on it so I don't know what the actual value is, going in to the dealer to see what they will give me for trade in so I don't have a payment and I want to make sure I am getting fair value.

if its 4x4 and less than 50k miles, you should expect close to new pricing.

from another thread the resale value on these trucks is incredibly high. dont let whoever you sell it to tell you otherwise, because they will clean it up and sell it next to a brand new one for a grand or 2 less. and trust me, it will move

I just sold my 2010 double cab 4x4 off road 27K miles with damage to the front left fender, grill, bumper cover and gouged headlight. The wife slid off the road because of black ice and hit a barb wire fence. The dealer bought it out right for $25k. They hold the price very well.

They don't have 2012 for Tacomas yet. You could try NADA's website.

Edit: NADA doesn't have it either. They must not give used values until the next year's model comes out.

Oops I didn't notice that. Perhaps looking up a similarly equipped 2011 would give him some kind of usuable information.

I just wonder what the insurance companies use if you total a new vehicle?
