    Hello Forum,

Though most of you suggested to leave my truck with a slight rake:

I decided to add the 1" block.

Between the Hellwig EZ990 & the block I have 2.5" lift in the rear & the Bilsteins set @ .85 up front. I got the driveline vibes from 0-10 so I lowered the Carrier Bearing. I used the 2 original leaf spring u-bolt "nuts" as spacers. This improved the vibe about 80%. I drove 108 miles afterwards & now you can barely feel it. I am very happy. I don't know why it improved but it did. I also used Loctite (blue bottle) & I torqued the bolts to 45 ft lbs.

NOTE::::::::::::::::::::::: The proper torque amount is 27 ft lbs but I found the info AFTER I installed the bolts. I left it that way however. I also checked the bolts after driving the 108 miles and eveything is fine.

As for the driveshaft angle, I put a long aluminum tube against the carrier bearing & noted how the driveshaft was along side it. It could not be more striaght unless it was a one piece!

Oh, & no axle wrap AT ALL! Maybe its due to the helper springs but even after installing the 1" steel block I have no axle wrap.

SPECIAL THANKS to sfcadams! His pics & his responses to my PM's got me here. It's very much appreciated when people take the time to help you with something. THANKS!
