I think you should paint your whole truck green and have your skid plate and emblem black.

when you painted your decals/emblems what type of paint did you use? I bought acrylic enamel for automotive use and was wondering if that would work or if should get the plastic paint.

I just used some rustoleum fluorescent green, it was the only kind in that color. Most people use krylon fusion cause it adheres to plastic very well, I personally would use that over the acrylic enamel. One trick though is to set your oven to like 250-275, once it gets to that temp. turn it OFF, then put the painted pieces on a piece of cardboard in the oven WHILE IT'S OFF, for about 5 minutes. It helps cure the paint and gives it a cleaner finish.

I did three coats and then the oven and that's it. No coats after the oven. After you finish your last coat then put it in the oven, let it cool off then put it back on the truck wherever you want
