    Howdy from Pacific Northwest

    I picked up a '12 Doublecab Longbed SR5 about a month ago.

I'm pretty stoked on it as I finally have a capable vehicle for accessing the Cascade Mountains in Washington - no more relying on my Fiancee's CRV.

I was torn between the SR5 and the Off-Road, but decided that the long bed would be more useful for me and the Off-Road might be a bit overkill - I drive on fire-roads quite a bit, and some are pretty gnarly (I've already scrapped the bottom on a gravel bar), but nothing like what a lot of you guys do. I mostly drive these roads for access for climbing, hiking, and mountain biking.

I put a canopy on it but I don't expect that I'll mod it any further unless it becomes necessary. I've got some questions regarding my suspension for fire-road driving, but I'll post them in the 2nd Gen forum - or is the off-road forum more appropriate?

Here's a pic from near Skykomish, WA
