Whats up guys. Im new to this thread and had a question. Recently I bought a 2012 tacoma and put a 3" body lift and 3" lowrangeoffroad suspension on it with 18x9 Moto Metal wheels and 35x11.50 Nitto All-Terrain Tires. (All done/installed by me) I am currently rubbing on the front 2 cab body mounts and was seeing what I can do. I have 2 ideas in my head which is do an alignment to set caster and camber more or cut/trim body mounts on frame. However if I do that, in VA that can possibly fail state inspection from what I hear because any mod. done to the frame fails. But I dont believe that story all the way. Please give me feed back because I believe someone had this same problem. Thanks :D

You need to do a cab mount chop. "CMC" as they call it on the forum. I suggest doing some searches, tons of posts on this issue.

I'm sure there is some regulation on modifying a vehicles frame for VA inspection but honestly I'd be more concerned about the body lift then the cab mount chop...If done properly you can't even tell.

What color is your truck? I think I may have seen you today, looked like a body lifted 12 on I264 EB, got off at Oceana and stopped at Wawa.
