battery died :(

    So earlier tonight I have my battery tested here are the results:

    Voltage: 12.4 V
    Rated: 582 CCA
    Actual: 364 CCA

    The guy said I need it replaced and gave me the print out to take to toyota

    I feel dumb asking, but seeing my current situation, have you taken it to advanced auto or other store to have it tested? Mine came back positive for HIV and low cold crank current :p

    Cant tell from the numbers you put up, but I doubt it. It should have a remote turn on/off, so if the truck is Off, there should be no current sent to it. If it has a "Power" LED, check to see if its iluminated when the truck is off.

    Took it to the service department, and had a fresh battery in within 40 minutes. No cost to me :)
