First Toyota, into: Jersey Shore & VT

Welcome from VA. It has been a busy month for me as well with the mod bug biting so hard, so fast!
Did you ever find out about the backup camera? Mine came with it, but you made it sound like yours was prewired. Is that the case? I installed the Pop n Lock and tapped into my passenger door locks. The tailgate is locked whenever the passenger doors are locked. This way, my bed will be more secure when my tonneau goes on.

I lucked out. Bought the camera and mirror from a TW member and they plugged right in!

I think the pop and lock is a good idea, how did you run your wires?

 

I followed the "How To" I found on here. Basically, followed the path of the camera wires along the frame up the passenger side. Under the front passenger's seat there is a rubber plug that I cut a slit into to let the Pop n Lock's wires in. Pop off the plastic kick plate trim piece and splice into the 2 wires. Really not that tough of an install.
