It really doesnt seem bulky to me. And the grip seems good too. Not as svelt as the Glock, and a little higher profile than my Sig, but a nice gun none the less. Im very happy with it. :)

I have the P95DC (shown in the lower part of the PIC) It was the first Ruger P95(Decocker) that's what she said,...that I owned with poly frame like the Glock, the P95DC doesn't have steel rails that the slide rides on. When they built this pistol they shot 50,000 rounds of Plus P or +P ammo through it, without a single issue(although they tell you not to do that.) Mine is a bit on the bulky side(again, That's what she said) for concealed carry, but it is a nice firearm and the decocker is nice for those of us that like to have a round in the chamber and hammer down. With hammer down it's like an eleven pound trigger pull on the first shot ,, then hammer is back on second shot giving a 3.5 or 4 pound pull for every round thereafter. I still cary this weapon hidden when I go out but it is a bit bulky. Nice gun either way..............

Nice collection! The owners manual in mine actually says that +P and +P+ ammo wont hurt it.

Finally got to shoot it today. I went into the range figuring it wouldnt be as accurate as my Sig, or Glocks. Welp....I WAS WRONG! I didnt clean the gun before shooting, as I wanted to test the reliability right out of the box. It fired every round I pulled the trigger on........AND......made nice little flower holes for each mag fired.

    First impressions:

Double action shooting, the trigger has a LONG pull.

Single action, the trigger was smooth, 'cept for an noticable initial take up.

Sights out of the box were dead on.

    Recoil:
Recoil was very soft. (I know...Its a 9mm). Muzzle flip was much more pronounced over my Glocks, and even my 45 Sig, but thats to be expected being as the centerline of the bore is higher than those 2 weapons. Target re acuasition was not slowed much by this.

    Gripes:
None really, except that when the slide is locked back, after insertion of a fresh mag., and hitting the slide release, a round would stove pipe in the chamber. This happened with the first 4 mag insertions, and didnt happen again for the other 10. This being said, the owners manual DOES state that after inserting a fresh mag, to pull back, and release the slide, allowing the firearm to go into battery. When I did this, there were no issues at all.

    Wrap up:

The gun is very smooth, almost on par with my Sig (Which is the smoooooothest auto I have ever fired). Suprisingly accurate, and very comfortable in the hand (I wear size L/XL gloves). The safety, slide lock, and mag eject arent as well thought out as on more expensive firearms, but they are still very usable. After a nice bath (cleaning), it shall confidently be added to my CCW rotation. :)
