Since I put the ScanGauge II in I have noticed engine RPM's more than ever.

When I 1st start the truck (V6 O/R) I am running near 1,750RPM's before I ever get it into gear - sounds like it's racing.

Idling with the car in PARK is 750 or so and when stopped at a light in DRIVE with the brakes applied :

Curious how low / high your engine RPM's are at startup , stopped/in gear and parked.

    Thx

At first start up (cold engine), it runs at 1650 for about 15 seconds and then it slowly goes to about 975 in aprox. 1 1/2 mins. It idles at 750 in park and 560 in drive after it warms up.

I've idled some in Death Valley, but not for long, as it was too hot.

Dad's truck, minor mods.. Saving for my own :)
Ive always noticed my starting idle is pretty high, about 1700, but then it drops to about 700. Right now my idle pulleys are so messed up I barley idle when driving...
