Well a compound bow takes some time to become efficient with. With the season being just around the corner.... I would go with a crossbow. Just slap a scope on it and go the woods

I have a pse xforce dream season edition and love it. I can shoot one pin up to 35 yards it slings it so fast. Don't be a sissy and go with a crossbow! I'll be honest it's to damn dangerous pulling a crossbow back to set it.

well, you shoot a bow and hunt with it because it presents another level of challenges to overcome. just pulling back the arrow undetected can be a butt puckering challenge. a crossbow, you are loaded and like a rifle..you can simply pull a trigger. granted you share the same range limitations.

so ask yourself..do you want a huge challenge? if so, buy the bow.

crossbows are badass..i'll get one when i cant pull a bow..

Enjoy your new bow. I hunt more with my bow than I do my rifle.

I would use a bow. Using a crossbow is like using a gun. Bow is a little more fun then just pointing and pulling the trigger.
