I know I already used the search feature but I couldn't find the specific information I needed. I'm planning to lift my truck in the very near future primarily for looks, I had a 3" lift on my 4runner before I got my Tacoma and was wondering if this should be good enough and would I need any other parts? Also would it look weird on stock tires 265/65/17 and I'm pretty sure I'll be able to run 285/65/17 or 285/75/17 tires correct? I know the ride won't be that great but will my exisiting stock bilstein shocks on my TRD sport work with this simple lift? Any info is great, loving my tacoma!

Just finished installing that lift for my truck at 1am this morning. turned out better than i expected (ride quality wise). That Kit comes with almost everything you need. Its missing new U bolts; you can get by with re using your stock ones but its advised to swap them out.

The stock tires are gonna look really funny with that lift

I have 265/75/17 on mine and they are on the borderline for me now. You will defiantly be able to fit the 285s for sure and they would be an appropriate size to accommodation with the lift :)

thanks K Dog, do you have a picture of your lift? It doesn't stress any other components? When I threw the 3" lift on my 4runner I didn't have to worry about UCA or CV angles so I'm just curious as what this 3" lift would affect other suspension components.
