Have a shower attachment and i'll take it camping. Also it'd keep it black, clean water is clean water, regardless if it's warm or cold. And keep the cup holders. How does it mount. that is my main concern.

Great question. I'll find out and let ya know.

Edit: Ok here's the deal. It mounts to the side of the bed rail using two steel mounting brackets, which are included with the purchase of "The Spray Box". However be advised that at this time, it was designed for general purpose outdoor activities, and the mounting hardware may not be quite enough reinforcement for the extended jarring and bouncing associated with off-roading, mud bogging, and extreme trail riding. That's where a little creativity will help in adding a little extra reinforcement for you off-roaders. I have no doubt in TW member's abilities to be creative. I see it everyday on here!! ;)

Man I'm not even sure. That'd be up to the guy selling them and shipping them. Keep in contact and when these things go up for sale we'll figure out a way to work you in. That's the best I got for now, eh.

I agree $400 is too steep, but this is in the "lets talk about it stages".
If this was $199. on the high side, I think this could draw some serious interest.

Believe it or not, across multiple platforms, I think he already has enough attention to keep it at the price point he planned. He has indicated an interest to do a pre-sale order of 50 units for us (TW) down around the neighborhood of $250'ish as mentioned in post #28.

With it being a unique product custom fitted to Tacoma's and other trucks, plus all the custom features each buyer can do to their unit and the quality components used to build them, I think he'll get plenty of interest from all the outdoor enthusiasts whose activities would justify the cost. People pay over $1000 for a vinyl tonneau cover and $500 for seat covers (me included, come on Sept. WO GB!) Either way, it'll be right for some folks and maybe not for others. ;)

Either way the guy put a lot of work and time into this project and now is starting up a company. Too me I think it's worth the cost to support a local (domestic) start up business. Especially a guy with kids and normal day job. Wish I had the balls to do something like this. Just my .2.

are you making these from the exiting coolers/storage boxes from vertically driven??

Any warm water option? $400 sounds a bit steep IMHO. Especially with some inexpensive parts you can convert one of the $100 boxes to do it.

I'm not the one producing them nor do I set the price. The planned discounted rate has already been discussed in previous posts. I have no idea where he gets his parts. Just trying to help the guy out and find out if anyone here is interested. You can jump on his facebook/sales page and ask the questions directly. Again he offers a nice option, customized to your liking, based on QUALITY parts that will last a lot longer than inexpensive ones especially in salty environments. The kit includes the wiring harness for the truck as well as all quality components needed to operate it in one purchase. That's all I know.

Looks great, we have literally thousands of Tacomas in Hawaii, and we are all about the outdoors. This product would take off in Hawaii, it's all about figuring out the shipping.
Fastnel is a great inexpensive shipper for maybe a group ship to Hawaii...

Ok, here's the response from The Spray Box's designer.

--Yes, my original proto-types were built using a Vertically Driven wheel well storage box. The box didn't meet expectations so I am having a box custom made to meet the needs of the The Spray Box and it's clientele. What you are currently seeing posted on the "Spray Box Facebook Page" is not he final product. The final product will have the workmanship of a Yeti cooler, which is the clientele I originally planned to market to. Yes, of course there are cheaper model sprayers on the market for those that don't want to spend the money on The Spray Box. However my main focus now is producing a quality product that is built to last. I will post some pictures of the production models in the coming weeks.--

My thoughts with regard to the quality you're getting for the price is inline with other products we buy all the time here on TW. Think Wet Okoles, Weathertech's etc. We all know there exist cheaper versions of these items but we go for the better quality and more recognizable versions which cost more but last a lot longer. As far as establishing a repor such as the previous mentioned products have, well that's why he added TW to the list of the first customer bases. To establish a solid following and get great feedback to tweak future models. Wet Okoles and Weathertechs all started anew at some point as well.

I would recommend a longer hose. You can't clean the front of the truck or the back of the boat with that short hose. My .02

Is that a connector fitting for a air hose on the bottom of the tank?
If not that could be another use to pump up tires etc if the compressor can handle it, of course with dual purpose accessories, longer hose with exchangable fittings.
