I have a 2012 dbl cab and I want to install subs. I would like to spend around 500-600 dollars for everything. Is it possible to get anything decent in this range? I have been looking at the kicker 10" cvts but I am not sure if these are any good and I generally don't really know what amp I need to power 2 10's or what box to get. Could someone with some experience just kind of explain some options I could do. Thanks in advance!

Looks like this guy has a single sub enclosure left. Check out the buy/sale/trade section theres a buch of audio stuff in there, and you can ask the sellers about specifics when it comes to matching the subs and an amp
Crutchfield has some good videos and stuff if you click the research tab, if you watch those youll know the basics and you will be able to ask more specific questions.
I cant help ya to much tho, ive got an access cab and a single 8 inch

One thing i can say is its all about the box! Get a custom box made by someone that knows what there doing. Ive heard one 8" in a custom box bump much harder then my 12" that i have in a random box.

^very true. Those kickers you are looking at that require .8-3 cubic feet of volume. You probably dont want to go with the minumum. If you wanted two im not sure if you could get enough volume If you want a hidden sub enclosure. Try searching mr-marv sub box for some ideas.
