Sport wheels added.

:confused:Why did you buy this truck?

Are the rear brakes bad? Inadequate?
Do you run out of washer fluid all the time?
Are you constantly adjusting your seat or not strong enough to manual adjust?
    Do your mirrors get cold?
You could get a GM/Furd/dodge and get that springy tilt wheel.
Make the steering wheel a chain and ya got something going there.
All buttons SHOULD light up...this is your only beef I agree with.
Cruise controls ARE on the steering wheel...right at your finger tips even.
Brake pedal not working well enough? Braking performance off?

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
my other vehicles had the cruise control on the wheel, i like the toyota cruise control much much much better. Before i got my tacoma, i had to drive my moms highlander for about 2 weeks and was hoping the tacomas cruise control would be the same and it is. It's so convenient where its located.

What kind of steering wheel do you want? A go-kart steering wheel? A 2 inch reduction would make the wheel just slightly bigger than a Power Wheels wheel.

I am glad, however, that you like the rest of the truck. It just seems like little things that you want.

I agree with some/most of these points, and do wish that Toyota offered more options on the Tacoma espicially when comparing it to the Tundra.
The 2009 has added things like leather seats, MP3, back-up camera etc, which I think is great.

I don't take any of the OP's suggestions as an insult to the Tacoma's, I don't know why people are so defensive.

We all chose Toyota for a multiple of reasons, I for one bought my truck mostly because I feel Toyota makes a reliable product. Do I think my truck is perfect, no, it doesn't mean I'm going to go buy a Ford, or even spend the money to trade up for a 2009 Tacoma.

Why wouldn't anyone want the choice of more options? If you don't want certain options don't buy them.

    Shawn
