Ok so i had my upholstery guy look at the truck today and made plans to turn the rear bench seat into two seperate seats to make room for me to fab a rear console to house my subs! The console will extend from the factory front console all the way to the back of the truck following the same shape the seat was. This will probably turn into a long drawn out process so any opinions would be appreciated! And does anyone know if this has been done before?

Im going for a look as close to stock as possible so the console will probably be wrapped in the same fabric as the seats that tough nylon style stuff

Maybe instead of chopping the 60% seat, try finding another 40% seat from a junker and mod it to fit the larger passenger side?

Well if you look at the 60 seat it has a seam on the top portion and the bottom portion that is going to be cut and sides stitched back on both pieces so essentially if i want i can always return it back to stock there will just be 3 seats instead of two.....and i will be doing most of the work myself....no shop
