2006 & 2016 DCSB TRD Off Road 6-Speed

I have read many references to noise from UCAs with uni-balls. How noisy are they? Is it a metallic chattering of the ball joint? Does the Teflon lining that some have eliminate noise?

Also, what about maintanance? How long do the joints typically last?
