We see plenty of people fit 33" tires under 3" lifts all day long on the forum, they all look great.

I have taken a personal matter in this whole tire ratio to wheel size thing as I as well am on the quest to lift my truck up and put some nice good looking tires that suite my personality and make me happy. However, I have a disability going into this quest (as so many before me have gone on) as I have 20" (yes im smiling) Texas Edition alloy wheels.

here is a picture of a douchbag with his new truck[IMG]

frankly, the best thing about this whole set up is, its 2wd, I live less than 8 miles from work, so transit is almost non existent, and I don't haul things. So I can pretty much customize this truck however I want to and not worry about actual off road performance related stuff. Im really just looking to wrap a 33x12.50r20 tire under a 3" lift. I know since im only 2 wheelin on the road to and from work I can skimp a lot of money off of my lift kit package and not worry about loosing performance, as well....my truck is not going to ever perform anyways. Well, she may flash and flirt a little bit :D

This is where I would love to hear about people who have 20" wheels. Mine are 20"x9", what do you roll with!? Input!

You could buy a pretty sweet car if you sold it, sounds like that's what you need. A body lift is going to look like a body lift so you may want to spend the extra cash and get an in between set up so it doesn't look like it was a budget lift

A bunch a cool stickers, a bada ass MetalMiller Tx Longhorns grill emblem painted Hemi Orange, JBA long tube headers with o2 sims, Diff breather mod, Red LED interior lights, Fancy head unit that plays ipod n movies, Also DIY install factory stuff like, factory cruise control, factory intermittent wipers, OME nitro struts with 886x springs and toy tec top plate, JBA high caster UCA's for better alignmnet and dey beefier too, Old Man Emu Dakar leaf springs in da rear with the gear, U bolt flipper, Ivan Stewart TRD rims with 33" K Bro 2's, some bad ass weather tech floor liners so I don't muck up my interior, an ATO shackle flipper for mo travel in da rear wit the gear, also super shiny Fox 2.0 shocks back there too, all sorts of steal armor for bouncing off of the rocks like demello sliders, AP front skid, trans skid, n transfer skid, demello gas tank skid, and a tough as nails ARB bumper with warn 8k winch, I'm sure there's more
That truck looks great with those rims, but that dude in the pic is a lil goofy looking. Joking. There are alot of lift options out there, and your budget will dictate what you want to go with. I will recommend that you do not go with any kind of spacer lift. I had one, and I didn't like the feel of it. I eventually went with the Bilstein 5100's. The great thing about them is that they give you a nice smooth ride and are also adjustable. Plus they don't cost much more than alot of the spacer lifts out there. As for upping your tires, you may find that your truck will be sluggish with the larger tires(33"), and if you're not going to off road, you could go with a 32" tire set up instead, and not worry about rubbing and fitment. Regardless if you lift your truck or not, I believe the 33" tires will rub the upper control arms, unless you got an aftermarket set, or used wheel spacers. Or you could just say eff it, go with a 6" lift and throw on some 35" mud meats.

It reminds me of a Lincoln Mark LT truck. You proportioned the rubber and wheels really well. I love the look! Very tastefully done

yeah to be honest with you I was thinking of doing something like a with 5100's and toytech springs to get me up to 3 inches and have a adjustable setup.

and for less than 700 bucks thats a good price in my opinion, Im sure plenty of others have done this set up, id love to hear what they know.
