    Hey Guys,

Has anyone experienced this with their UltraGauge? It was working fine in another vehicle until I moved it to my truck. Pics included. Here is what happened.

    1. Was leaving my parents house and noticed my check engine light came one.
    2. Used UltraGauge to check the error code and reset light.
    3. Gauge goes haywire and stops working. (It was previously working fine.. in the truck and another vehicle)
    4. The gauge is able to scan / load and then displays a bunch of gibberish and resets itself.

    I hope I didn't waste $80 on a dud.

I've had mine for 8 months now, still working well.
I haven't used it on a different vehicle, though.

Maybe that screwed it up. Did you re-configure it properly
for your truck (# of cylinders, displacement, etc)?

Yeah I mean it was working fine when I put it in my truck. I was able to clear a check engine light and see the error code. After that, the unit just went crazy. I'll probably have to open a support ticket with them.

The unit is pretty much in an infinite boot loop. :(

I upped a video to youtube to show them when I open a support ticket. Very strange. I haven't been able to get it to work. :/

Just a bunch of old crap
Try putting it back on another vehicle and see if it clears up when it goes through the reconfig. If that works, put it back in your truck and let it reconfigure again and then post back. If it is still messed up, you may have a dud. First I've heard of these units doing this. Maybe it was hooked up and got some sort of shock or reverse polarity? Were you working on something?
