I just upgraded to some 265 75 16 Nittos on my 2012 Tacoma. I love the look and love the ride of them for sure. However, it almost feels like my steering is looser up front. I saw a similar post about this but I didn't know how relative it was seeing as the person had a different rim setup etc. I'd like to fix this problem (if it is one) as properly as possible. I'm almost curious that the heavier wider tire up front may just drive this way? But there again, I just want to make sure everything stays in the correct working order. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ur tires need to break in from the production coating that's on them. Drive very carefully for the next 500 or so miles. They will get better.

New tires have taller tread blocks that squirm more than your old worn tires. This can contribute to the feel you describe

Inflation pressure can play a role as well

Lastly, different tires handle differently. That's just how it is. Tires have the single largest impact on handling of your vehicle, so ya... different tire? It ain't gonna drive the same

My nitto's are way different than my snow tires. It feels like the wheel is going to get yanked out of my hand when i encounter big ruts in the pavement, but this also could be from not getting uca's when doing my lift.

Maybe it's the nitto compound. I had a set on my last truck which had 55k on it an I never changed them so those tires where all I knew on that car. Had the truck 2 years and never rotated them. They don't wear.

Thanks for the input everyone. Again, very thankful to this site and all the knowledge everyone has to offer. Glad to hear it is a minimal issue.
