You are asking a question of a person who has not posted on this forum in almost a year.

But his basic circuit appears to be sound.

Negative the dome switch does not work like that for this. I put a 3 way switch in my dash. It's nice to turn them off when I'm bs'ing or something.

that sucks. there would be no easy way to wire it in to the dome light like this and then also run it off a switch to turn on without shorting something out and blowin a couple fuses would there?

You'd have to trace all the way into the dome light housing and parallel the new lights across the original light.

I'm pretty sure it would not be cheap, free, or legal for street. Passenger seating and restraint systems are serious business.

    Too few to list.
I don't think it can be done as the rear of the access cab is already cramped as it is. Even the double cabs are cramped in the first gens.

i’m about to try and do this. but why do you need but connecters? can’t you just take a pice of wire thats say 6” long. splice on end into the white/black and other end into the red/yellow? pretty much just creating a bridge between the wires?

In that case do whatever you want. Butt connectors, wire ends twisted together, wire ends soldered together. :notsure: However you want to connect them. I had butt connectors and they were quick/easy.
