i want to put nos on my s/c'd x-runner

i want to run nos on my supercharged x-runner has or is anybody running it? can i run it on a stock 4.0 gr motor? i'm just looking for a little pick up every once in a while and i dont want to blow up my motor? any imput would be appreciated, thank u

 

Have you ever experienced using it before? It's very hard on the engine and transmission and can easily blow it if you do it wrong. Do you race on a track on a regular basis?

 

Heck my MALL CRAWLER is a pick up. Isn't yours?

 

Yeah I'd deff check the x runner forums. Have had nitrous on my camaro, you can really run it on any motor just do it in moderation and make sure it's tuned for it.

 

I'd do a 35 shot max, avoid the cheesedicks and talk to deathshadow on the real Tacoma forum....xru! Hehe jk. He has ran a 35 shot with the trd s/c and with the low end power the sc puts out and the nos at high rpms it was a killer setup

 

Not to be an ass or anything but why do people want to make a truck fast? Is it because they like the looks of a truck and want speed to? I have seen some pretty sweet looking lowered trucks but if I wanted to go fast I would buy a car. Maybe an EVO, STI or Mustang with SC. Just curios, I bought a truck to off-road and haul stuff.

 

thank u for the imput, nos, n.o.s. to me idk what u call it, its short for nitrous oxide, yes its a truck ,its a sports truck and with a 6 speed tranny id say it was meant to go fast and it does, i do not think its meant to haul stuff around with a 900lb max payload, i just wanted a little more power , its basically a toy, i'm trying to sell it and i cant get even half of what i got into it , so i'm just going to build more, might as well have a firebreathing dragon (TRUCK) than not, i already have a 4door prerunner so it is what it is! this site is awesome thank u everybody for ur opions . i definately dont want to blow it up i'm thinking i should of went with the urd supercharger instead, i think the trd is better for offroad use, although i have'nt went all the way(2.2 pulley)
