Alright so I am finally desiding to pull the plug and start modding my 12'

currently i have a AirAid intake installed and i will be installing a MBRP exhaust this weekend.

now that that is out ill get to the point.

I have done alot of back and forth about getting a spacer lift or just going for the shocks and coils..... and even though the shocks and coils will cost more, i think i will be happier with them in the long run. So ive done some looking and i liked this I think this will work for me well BUUUTTT they do not ship to Canada, Is there any place i can get such kit in Canada or shipped ? I have also decided as im going to spend the cash i may as well get new UCA's wile im at it. However i have a few questions about this lift, first i have a double cab short box 12' will i need the plate spacers to get the full 3" of lift? would the AAL or the block be better? if AAL should i be getting 2" or 1.5"? and as i'm willing to now spend the cash is the extra 190$ worth it to get the 5160 rear shocks? for someone who will see some off road and mostly for camping and getting my dirt bike into the bush?

Im going to be putting on some LT285/65R18 Trail Grapplers with a backspaced wheels.

And my last question for now would be, would it be best to just take these to a shop to have the springs compressed?

    Thanks

The 5100 shocks with Eibach coils are a great choice. I went with that same setup myself except that I did the Icon progressive AAL instead, and I'm really happy with all of it. Toytec sells the Icon AAL but don't list it on their website.

On the 2nd clip groove from bottom, I ended up with 2.5" lift up front and didn't need UCA's. I left the overload leaf in back to help keep load capacity and so I have 2" lift in the back. That leaves just a slight amount of rake but I like it that way.

If Toytec can't handle Canada, then I'd suggest Downsouth Motorsports or Wheeler's Offroad. They don't have the Eibach coils but you could do OME 885's which would be pretty much the same.

Forgot to mention... I'd recommend any AAL over the blocks to avoid axle wrap.

After fighting with my wife's struts using a jicky-do rental compressor, it is def worth it to let a shop handle the springs IMO. I'm a stickler for doing things myself to save bucks, but that was $50 very well spent. :D

ok that is what i've been missing haha, can anyone speculate on my other questions?

more so as to the plate spacers, i still think i may go with UCA's as i would like my 3" down travel, I'm also planning on putting bags in the rear eventually.

Yeah that and the fact that this task will probably involve beer :D so i would really hate to hurt myself or worse trying to compress a spring
