    Hi All,

Thought I'd share something I put together this past weekend. The problem I was having was I wanted to put a couple bike mounts along the front bed rail, but the rear bulk head of the access limited roll up cover that I have sticks out too far that mounting the bike's forks becomes difficult if the bike mount is mounted directly to the bed rail.

The solution I came up with is a combination of ideas I gathered from several threads I found here on TW, so thanks to all for that!;)

I basically have a 1"x1" square tube running parallel to the front bed rail about 2.5" away from the front bed rail. The square tube is mounted using three 4" bolts (3/8"-16) with associated hardware as shown in the picture. I was able to pick up the T-nuts (3/8-16, 9/16, item #2YJK9) from Grainger.

I think the square tube is great because I can mount other stuff to it in the future or use it as a light duty tie down. I also ordered extras of the T-nuts in case I want to bolt something else to the bed rails in the future.

Anyways, thought I'd share in case anyone else was trying to do this.
