The 4th gen 4runner spare kit is way nicer

So, it's a long story, but because my new tires won't be delivered until tomorrow, I found myself without a spare on my truck.

And this morning, I had a problem and so I borrowed a spare from my wifes 4th gen 4runner.

First - her spare kit is way nice! It has thumbscrews and a much better paint job. Plus it has a spare lug wrench in the kit!

And to top it all off, she's got an alloy spare tire! I've been scouring CL and Ebay trying to find one cheap and here I could have just stolen hers and left her the steel spare from my truck and she never would have known the difference.

So anyway - if you're looking for an upgrade to your spare kit, hit up a junkyard and get the one out of a 4runner.
