I drive way too much to get a straight up mud tire. I want something that looks mean and backs it up in the mud. Any thoughts?

I was interested in the Revo as well, but everybody I know that has them complains about premature tire wear. They love the performance of the tire, but I don't want to spend premium dollars on tires if they are not going to last. How have your Revos been wearing?

I had a set of BFG A/T on a Mitsubiushi 4WD and absolutely loved them. I was still in college so i traveled home quite a bit, it was about 300 miles round trip. i had those tires for about four years before i gave the truck to my brother who used those same tires for about another year. Don't ask me about the mileage, the speedo and odometer did not work. I have not put new tires on my Taco but thinking that i will go this route, with this truck being my daily driver and huntin' rig.

I was definitely looking at these...my biggest thing, is that I just dont want to shell out a ton of cash on these tires, and then have them wear out quick because of all of my driving.

I drove that little truck hard on and off the road and they held up really good. I have a cousin that sells tires and he highly reccommends these tires because of how well they wear with a lot of highway miles. They also do good off-road in the sand and mud. Not a lot of experience in the snow due to the lack of it around here, so i can't compare how well they did with other tires.

I'd recommend Procomp Xtreme AT's, Goodyear duratrac's, or Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10's. The hankooks are like a more agressive Toyo AT.

I can't give you mileage figures, but my brother in law had them on his Dodge Ram and I work with a guy who had them on his Silverado and S10 Blazer. Both of them went to a different tire due to the fact the Revos were expensive and wore out fast. I personally have not used the Revos, so I don't have first hand experience with them. I did however have the regular Dueler A/T's on two of my trucks and I was very happy with them. I'm a big fan of Bridgestone, in fact I'm going to be putting the Potenza G019 on my 07 Civic coupe later in the year.

I have 285/75/16 Maxxis Buckshots that I got off Craiglist for $200 for the set with lots of tread! So I couldn't pass that up, but my next set will probably be the ProComp Xtreme ATs, love the look and a bunch of my friends have them :D

So its seeming Procomp extremes vs. bfg a/t....which would you pick between the 2 and why?

I'm in your shoes. I drive a lot on the highway for a commute, so gettin mud terrains wouldnt be my best choice. I'm startin to search around about the mickey thompson baja ATZs a little bit. If not those I'll probably end up with the nittos
