Hi, I have a stock 2010 sr5 dbl cab 4x4 with stock 16 inch rims and tires. I bought a set of stock 17 inch TRD sport rims and want to go with 265x70x17 Goodyear duratracs... Anybody see any issues with this combo? I assume the clearance is the same as sr5 vs TRD and I believe 265x70x17 would be the maximum size stated in other threads to avoid any rubbing? Thanks for your input!

You should be just fine. You'll need to have the new TPMS sensors from the Sport wheels registered to your truck. Unless the ones from your 16" wheels fit in the 17" wheels. I can't remember if they do or not.

^This. If your old wheels were steel, the sensors won't mount into the TRD Sport wheels. You can just throw a standard valve stem on and call it a day though.

As far as fitment, there won't be any issues. That combo works fine. I did the same thing, went from SR5 wheels to 17" TRD Sport wheels with 265/70R17 Cooper AT3's.

Right on... Thanks guys. The guy at the tire shop was telling me it would probably rub on the plastic mud flap...

I have found that the guys at tire shops tend to err on the conservative side, but then they don't wat to sell you somehing that you want to take off after 2 days on the truck either.

I still have my mud flaps also... no rubbing and only a slight lift but plenty of people run that size tire at stock height.

I didn't rub at all at stock height with Sport alloys and 265/70/17 Hankook MT's

I actually think the only person on Earth to rub 265/70/17 on stock wheels was Boyd
