Just picked up my new truck a week ago, and while doing a walk around after having skid plates and bed extender added noticed the letter "T" on the chrome plastic log is broken.

That stuff really bugs me as "I" want to be the first to put dings on the truck.

Anyway, are there places that sell those, or do I need to go to dealer?
And are they bolted, riveted or glued on?

chrome plastic log? logo? New truck, get the dealer to fix it. You could buy one on here and do it yourself, but why bother...

When was your truck built? That damage may have been on there for a while at the dealer and you just never saw it before now. Vehicles routinely get dinged up on dealer lots due to the high volume and activity of stuff moving around - sometimes they fix it sometimes they just hope nobody will notice. Talk to the dealer (dont be afraid to get in their face!) and they will probably fix it for free.

Thanks, will buzz down there tomorrow during lunch or Saturday and see what they will do.

I also had a small scrape on the front wheel well guard, and the mud flap looks like it was bumped from behind breaking one of the tie down plastic bolts.

I was thinking though, those darn things seem to stick down pretty far in front and am pretty sure the first time I go over a rock or sudden drop, they will get hit and broke.

What do most do with those things as they don't seem very flexible.

A lot of people just take them off. Some trim them. I still have mine on but I occasionally scrape them on speed bumps (no kidding). They are way too long!

I'm still waiting for someone to come up with some stiff rubber mud flaps for the Tacoma... Seems like a hot-selling product idea to me seeing as a LOT of people remove/break their stock flaps. But oh well.

You can get the Tacoma badges in red or black from the dealer (they are from X-Runners). Something to consider if you fancy colored badges and don't want to be bothered with painting them yourself.
