Interesting. Though changes may or may not imply incompatibility. In this case, I think you are probably right to assume incompatibility.

 

Isn't this how we get around having a dedicated Exhaust Gas Recirc system on the 2TR? By having the intake valve slightly open during the exhaust stroke at low RPM/idle, the exhaust gas feedback into the intake displaces O2 that would otherwise be available for combustion, just as a dedicated EGR system would normally do....

 

I had a 2011 Si sedan and can verify that those cars are absolute screamers...problem is living in them everyday is brutal if you are 6'4 and 290 lbs like me, so I ended up in a nice sensible 4x4...

 

I suppose we have to wait for someone to buy a junkyard and somehow get both versions of the 1GR and start tinkering to see if stuff matches up.

Unfortunately we don't have turboedit/crome/hondata/neptune to save the day computer-wise.
