Just purchased 07 PreRunner TRD Sport. Enjoying learning about my new ride. I notice when I make a turn from a stop, I get a noise from the rear end. I can also feel it. Is this the limited slip at work? I notice it more if its an rapid turn. Thanks for any help,Phil

    A few bolts are different.
Describe the noise and the feel. Maybe just not enough friction modifier in the diff fluid.

Take it to an empty parking lot and drive it in TIGHT CIRCLES in both directions.
Do some *8's* in both directions also.

When you do this...if you get a lot of rumble sounds OR the backend starts skipping.... It sounds like the diff doesn't have enough (or any) friction modifier in it.

If you are certain that it's the diff...I would highly recommend changing the oil in the diff with the proper amount of friction modifier in it.
