Well, I'll give your mechanic kudos for the easiest way to install an AAL. I bet they didn't even take the bolt out of the leaf pack. Probably just took off the U bolts and set the AAL on top of the leaf pack.

I sold some Rear fox's to a member on here and an hour later he said that the shop he had them installed at let out all the nitrogen while installing them. But this is way way worse than that.

    Sub'd for excuse

My dad had to go talk to them because I'm in school all day. I fear he will be too nice to them about this, seeing that he doesn't understand the magnitude of the problem and how simple the install should be.

What's wrong with deaver springs? Don't worry about it OP, some people here think their way is god's own commandment. It is kinda a shame that the shop was that stupid though, how the hell did they think putting that on top would help anything at all?

Probably because no one in this area ever brings them a quality suspension lift. Trucks around here are all spacers and blocks. Shitty redneck mud trucks. Regardless, I mean come on, it's an add a leaf

multiple members have had issues with some deaver products.

the j66 pack is absolute garbage. look back in this thread for the video i posted and if you want to learn more about it contact socaltaco66.

i mean a person should not be able to bottom out a leaf pack with his own weight. the stock toyota leaf pack is better.

theres multiple issues with it man.

im not saying anything about my way. im just saying deaver sucks.

UPDATE: I'm about to go on a rampage. Got the news from my dad. This is how it went.

Went to the shop, talked to the manager (Terry). Terry looked at it and immediately said it was wrong and when the mechanic arrived he would tell him to fix it. Mid-day, my mom called the shop to see if we would be able to pick it up after school. At that point, the mechanic STILL wasn't in. The kid who answered to phone told us he was out of gas and trying to find a way to work. Then when Terry got on the phone he said the mechanic was sick.... Hmmmmmm. Something smells fishy. As I write this, the mechanic still is not in and I'm out 1 Toyota Tacoma. Still. After 5 days. They say I'll have it tomorrow and everything will be double checked by the manager himself. As for the excuse why it looked to be installed by a 4 year old playing with daddy's tools, I do not have one because the mechanic is a no show. I am having withdrawal issues and need my truck back. I'm tired of mommy taking me to school.. Hopefully tomorrow is the day

Sounds like the mechanic is a real dependable guy......so much so I would get in a truck he bolted the suspension to. And even if he wasnt the standup guy he is......sounds like the guys at the shop atleast are honest and forthcoming with an explination as to why your AAL was installed incorrectly.......albeit by a trustworthy dependable mechanic I mentioned earlier.:jerkoff:
