Color Match Rear Bumper?

I searched around and found that the color match grilles can be found for $175-200 or so pretty easily.. but I was wondering and couldn't find any info about the rear bumper. I'm planning on trying to get a 2012 or 2013 TRD Off-Road in MGM but don't want the chrome.. front or back, would rather it all be color matched, since I'll be blacking everything else out. Something the dealer could order, or would I have to swap them myself? Appreciate the help!

 

I found a color matched on craigslist for 270.00 with the hitch.

Sold the chrome for 300.00.

It's a 2 man job but not hard. In sure the dealer can get you one for the extra $$$.

I'm pretty sure the rear bumpers only come unpainted from the dealer, where the front grilles come painted (my color matched grille is in the mail heading my way right now). Going to be tough to find one and expensive to get one painted to match as well. I've considered buying an unpainted one from the dealer and painting to match rather than trying to prep the chrome to work. You never know though....you may find someone that likes chrome that has a TRD Sport, I'm sure its happened before.

You could special order the parts from the dealership. $$$ though. Have you though about buying a base bumper and have it color matched from a paint shop?

Anyways, Im sure the dealership could facilitate your needs(you are buying a 30k truck)

That looks really good! Was that chrome to start out with? What did you use to prep/paint? How much did it end up costing you and how long has it lasted so far?

 

I got mine for 260 shipped from another member who got an offroad bumper

But honestly, Just get a base model bumper and have it painted or paint the chrome one yourself.

I plan on going with black wheels but if they had someSort of chrome on them then maybe the grille and bumper would look ok, but I'd rather it be color matched, just worried now that it may cost a small fortune that could go towards a lift haha thanks for the help! Hopefully I can get the truck before Christmas!

Check it out, mgm rear bumper. If shipped through grayhound it should be less than $100. Just check out his build thread first, looks like he used a forklift when he removed it so make sure its not scratched up.

 

yeah it was chrome before, didnt feel like taking the bumper off so i removed the lights and everything, taped it up, primed, painted, boom

 

How the hell did you sell the chrome one for $300!!! Through craigslist? Ive went through like 4 potential buyers here and i am asking $125 with some wiggle room
