Mine is holding up just fine. I have even taken it through a carwash several times and that was the one with the big rubber twirly things that slap the truck. Still it's held up longer than expected at this point. It's so easy to do, as long as it lasts more than a few months its worth it.

Thanks Gideon, I like your ride as well.

Dylan, I bought the rain deflectors at Discount Auto. They are the AVS In Channel ones. They work great, You can crack your window 2" in a downpour and stay dry inside.

Finally found the time to complete the DTRL Mod. I really like the results, works great.

Pulled the lower dash panel and cut the Green/Red wire, then ran the leads to a switch that I had inserted into a blank slot in the lower panel. I used a dremel to slowly cut out the hole.

Tested it and put the dash back together.

I wired the switch for illumination, but it was annoying, so I disconnected it.

I read a lot of write ups before doing it and that really made it easier.

K&N filter mod.... It's useless , unless you remove the carbon filter behind the airfilter ... Doing this will make a more noticeable difference in throttle response

Can't wait to see updated pics, with your new Body Armor bumper your getting .........ssshhh don't let the wife know ;)
