    Yeah, they don't let us take cubs here. On the upside, dressing that bear out probably took, what,10 minutes? ;)

    its not a cub... and in CA legal is a year old or 50 lbs. this more then doubled that regulation in both categories. DFG said it was about 2 years, and it weighed about 130.

    I paid >$200 for a tree farm pass in my area for this year. When I went to do some bear hunting, there were red signs everywhere saying the tree farm was closed to all activity due to fire danger and won't re-open until further notice :rant:

    I guess the positive is that I need to be ready and waiting the first day it opens because grouse and bear have not yet been hunted out... :spy:

    haha i know, i realized that after i looked at where you were from. im relaxed. im still go nuts i actually got my first one with a bow. been telling myself that for the last 3 years i wanted one with a bow first.
