Without having any knowledge of who wrote this or when or where, what are your reflections? Do you agree, disagree, understand, don't understand, etc.

I actually found it pretty interesting and thought provoking. Curious what others think.

"A man struggles to find himself; that is known. But what is in the shadows is an endless battle. The mind splits itself in two, each side tugging at the other, bellowing its' believed truth of what should occur in coming times. And the conscious, with all its perceived confidence and control, is ripped apart by melancholic times and periods of absolute nothingness. It is restlessness and contentedness all in one; an impossible, yet very real phenomenon which switches back and forth endlessly. When will it end? Maybe as the seasons change, maybe even as the sun goes down for the day. But “end” is of course a temporary description, as the feelings return. They always do. Sometimes quickly, other times not for many, many moons."
