    hey
I have a 2001 V6 3.4l Tacoma, it has been stalling out a bunch. In the past week I have replaced the fuel filter and fuel pump. It seems that most of the stalling occurs in the morning. It will stall out and sometimes not start again for a long time. I have replaced the MAF sensor and clean it on a regular basis. No engine light on right now. Any suggestions?

I had a similar problem and it was the Throttle Position Sensor. Replaced and no more stalling. Mine would still start though. I had no "CHECK ENGINE" Light until it completely failed. Hope this helps.

Mine has done the same thing. I believe it's to do with my throttle because when I hammer it, it will cut out and shut down. It's only happened twice but I had no engine light come on. Just pulled over and restarted the engine with no problems

I have had problems with my tacoma running smooth on days when there is a good amount of precipitation. Today it stalled out 3 times on the way to work. A few times I would push the gas, rpms would rise but no movement, then all of a sudden it would kick in and i would be moving. Has anyone else had this problem? I am wondering if water is getting on a sensor or somewhere in the air system. Looking for any place to start looking.
    thanks

From your description it seems as if you are having a problem with transmission slippage? An RPM rise, with no movement, then a "kick"? Just as a start. Maybe start off with a code reader. Not all codes will turn on the CEL.

Check your spark plug wires. Might need changing, letting moisture in some how.
